🇺🇦🌹🇺🇦The song “Ochi Chornye”, or “Dark Eyes”, is a Ukrainian folk song written in the early 19th century by an unknown composer.


🇺🇦✍️🇺🇦Which is not true. It’s folklore. The actual composer’s name is Yevhen Povlovych a.k.a. Evgeny Pavloich Hrbinka.


“Orchi Chyornye”— in its first Origins was considered a gypsy love song. The song has been covered by many different musicians in various languages, with the Russian version of the song being the most well-known.
